Question on Personal invitation letter

I am getting married in March, 2008 and for that purpose only i am inviting my parents. Is it good to mention that issue on the personal invitation letter that i send to them or not? What should i write on the personal invitation letter? And for your information i am on F1-OPT status (not on H1B).
