Deadline for travelling on B2 visa- Please help

Hi all,

My dad got B2 visa in October 2007, and he will be coming to US in MAY 2008. But I am not sure whether he has to travel with in 6 months of getting the visa. Is there a deadline for visitor visa to expire?

There are no deadlines, he can use the visa to apply for entry at any time, while it is valid (not expired)
