Hi,
My fil is retired and mil is housemaker. They have 2 daughters in India which didn't help them last time as their visa got rejected. The visa officer did see the property value letter from the CA last time and so we are thinking that may be, the visa officer felt that they didn't have enough property and so they were potential immigrants(which they are not).
Now my husband bought a house in India and my in-laws are staying in the new house and they are getting rent from their own old house. We also have a land which they are looking after. They are going to say that they have the rent coming as income now.
Now my question is, should we add our house and land in the property value letter from CA? If not, should they be telling that they are staying in their son's house and looking after the land until the son returns to India for good. Or should they take the property value letter of our property along with theirs to show that they are taking care of everything?
I had one more question. My fil can't hear properly unless the other person talks very loud. Last time, when they went for the interview, my mil mentioned to the translator that fil can't hear and so she will be answering all the questions. My fil was just standing next to her. So as proof, should they take any letter from the doctor saying that he can't hear? Do you think the consulate might think that my fil is fully dependent on his son and is not independent if we do this?
Your suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks,
Maun
