Where to send I-94 & Extention after visitor left the country.

Last time my mother was here, she got extention till May 30th, 2007, but she left on May 17, 2007 before we got her extension in the mail. Now she is back, she got admitted to the country but was questioned at the port of entry in Chicago about when she left and had to show boarding pass. I would like to send the I-94, extension & copy of boarding pass etc. somewhere (where???) so Immigration will update her records and not give her problems next time she is applying for visa. Go to your local USCIS office or BCP office at local airport.

I just read this site more extensively and noticed that it recommends sending uncollected I-94&extensions to CBP in London, KY for processing. I rather not go to local immigration office or airport immigration. Is there any particular reason you suggested that instead what is listed on the website? Anything changed? Thank you for your time.

I figured if you were "close" to any office or airport you could do what I suggested otherwise you can mail it too, no difference.
