Hi,
In my brother's passport, there is a typo in mother's name. In the last name instead of "O" its been spelled as "U" and in the first name one letter is missing.
I am planning apply for visitor visa for my brother and mother together.
The question is - Is it okay if my brother goes ahead with the existing passport without getting the mother's name corrected and have an affidavit mentioning the fact that there is typo in mother's name.
[Going through the documentation at passport.nic.in, I feel that it is as good as getting new passport to get the typo corrected]
