  • second attempt question

Aunt preparing for her second attempt interview. They rejected first time since both childern in US and her husband doesn't stay with her (he left her and didn't raise the children). First attempt was many years ago.

    1) Can she tell her husband came back to stay with her? Do VOs have a record of her mentioning husband story in first interview many years ago?
    2) She lives with extended family. Should she still mention her husband coming back?
    3) One of the children is completing studies and taking up a job (offer letter/acceptance letter attached) in India starting from summer 08. Is this enough to change the status irrespective of her husband?
    4) Other child got a GC since first attempt.

    Please advise.

NEVER lie. That will only get her BANNED for life.

Interview transcripts are available for Vo on their screen, even if it was years ago. Applicant return is already being doubted by rejecting in the first attempt, and they know how to catch lies by asking multiple related questions. So why do you you want to let go of any chance for her whatsoever?

Thanks for replies. Yes, you are correct. She will tell truth only.

Do you think the case is different from last interview - since one child has GC and other is leaving after graduation? She stays with her brother and sister, and owns her house and has bank balance etc. Please advise.

        Thanking you.
