Visa Date?

When applying for a 1 year b2 and being successful do they star the 1 year visa from the time of the interview/processing or do they start it from the date you put down on the ds-156 on when you think you'll be going to usa?

I have an interview on the 14th of feb so im a little curious.

The visa is valid from the date is approved/processed.
