Mom got visitor visa.

i really appreciate the way they help people with any type of Visa query.
My mom applied for Visitor visa and she had interview yesterday and granted Visa.
VO was a lady, interview was at Delhi in Hindi Lang.
VO: why do you want to visit US?
Mom: to visit some places and meet my daughter and Son inlaw.
VO: what does your husband do??
Mom: working in ........
VO: Since how long he has been working in that company?
Mom: 20 years
VO: Have you ever been to some other country?
Mom: No, i will go canada and then US now.( As my mom got canada visitor visa too last month)
VO: how many children do you have?
Mom: YYYY
VO: What does your son inlaw do?
Mom: Working as ...... in ..... company.
VO:Asked for my husband's employment proof.
MOm was about to give, then she said " Rehne do mam, aplo visa hi de dete hai" and then she smiled.
My mom asked about Passport as they have their canda's flight in few days, so she gave a paper with VFS information and asked my mom to contact VFS.

Papers my mom took with her:

File 1:
1. DS 156
2. DS 157
3. HDFC Receipt
4. Visa interview letter
5. Passport
6. passport size photos
7. Cover letter from mom’s side to US Consulate

File 2: VISITOR DOCUMENT FILE
1. LAST 6 MONTH's bank STATEMENTS
2. Property evaluation papers by Chartered Accountant
3. Property documents in India-Originals



File 3: SPONSOR DOCUMENT FILE:

1. Affidavit of support I-134
2. Letter written by my husband to the consulate
3. Invitation letter written by my husband to mom
4. Employment verification letter of mine husband
5. Copy of Naturalization certificate of my husband.
6. Copy of letter by bank
7. Copy of all pages of my Passport
4. Copy of My green card

How long did it take for you to take the appoinmtent in Hindi language.
Also do you remember which day and around what time you found the appoinments available in Hindi.

HI,

i booked appointment in the early morning at around 2am friday morning. as try in the starting of the month.
n if possible ask someone in india to keep an eye too, so that they can inform you whn dates are available, as i did. i asked my sister to keep an eye and it was Friday afternoon in india, and she clled me and said dates r open, so i had my application saved and i booked it.
