  • regarding visit visa

My mother and my sister are planning to visit me this summer. I have been in the states for more than a year now, my husband is on H1 and i have H4. Now my question is when my mother fills up form DS-156, question number 37, what should she write over there. Should she check on daughter as there is no such field as son in law? And if she clicks on daughter (which is me), what should she write on my legal status.... I am not working, nor studying and i dont have a greencard or citizenship. Can u help me with this?

      thanks

Thanks for an immediate response. However, i thought i could my husband's name as all of his documents are going with the application. And since he works, we can always put 'working'... but hez her son in law (and that category isnt there). If u look at the question, there are 5 options given:
      1) Citizen
      2) Greencard
      3) Working
      4) Studying
      5) Visiting

If she writes my name, ur saying she should mention H4 in the space given. Is that correct? What if she writes in bracket further 'son in law - H1' ???? DO u think that wud make sense?
