I had appeared for a tourist visa(family visit) interview at chennai on Feb 05. Although my family (wife +2 kids)got a visa, I recieved a pink slip (221(g)). At the time of the interview, I was told I would not have to come again, but send PPT when intimated using the drop box service. Having followed their directions and sent my reply by e mail, the consulate site just said "send PPT" on 12 Mar, unlike other case numbers which required some other documents to be sent. Q2. Does this definitely mean that they have agreed to give me a visa? Can I book my tickets now ( low cost with heavy cancellation fees).This is important as time is essence in booking my tickets. Typically, how much time does it take after I send the PPT through the drop box service ( VFS service) for the VISA to be endorsed?
