Greetings:
I visited your site today to do research relating to travelers from Italy
to the U.S. on the Visa Waiver Program. I was trying to determine
two things: If a person who comes to the U.S. in this way should desire
to extend her stay, let us say, for another 90 days, but no longer,
would it be possible to do so. Based on the information you have
provided, in most cases, with the exception of marriage of political
asylum,
it would seem not. I wonder then, if this person were to travel to the
Bahamas (I reside in Florida, so, the closest point) for a day, and then
return to the U.S., would it be possible for her to remain in the U.S.
another 90 days?
Your assistance with this question would be most appreciated.
