Visitor visa denial

I have a question. I'm in the US right now. My last H2B work visa expired on the 1st of June. Beforehand I applied for a change of status to a visitor visa till the beginning of November. It just got denied today (Sept. 19). Is there a law by when I have to leave the country? I thought it was one month from the denial date.
