Visiting Visa for Parents

Hi i wanted to sponsor my parents visitors visa. But when I went for my H1 Stamping (F1 to H1 Visa Stamping) in canada, the VO told me that my annual salary is bare minium and that I should talk to DOL (she gave me DOL contact details too).

So, will my minimum annual salary be a problem to sponsor my parents visit, saying that i will support their air tickets and rest of the financial aspects?

Please advise.

I can support them, but technically is 45K/annum salary enough for the VO get convinced.
