My parents go their Visa :)
Hi,
I would like to thank this website and all of u who have contributed here, making it one stop resource centre for immigrants.
My parents were rejected twice in the year of 2001 , but back then we did'nt have all the documents to back their return to India.
This time we followed all the instructions ,
they interveiwed at the Chennai Consulate, on 11th feb'08

how many children do u have?- 2
where are they settled?- elder son settled in Mumbai & younger daughter in the US
what does ur son-in-law do? IT consulant at XYZ company
what does ur daughter do? Pharmacist at XYZ company
what do u do ? both are retired
what did u work as before? both in a defense based company.
when r u palnning to travel? Summer 2008
that was it they did'nt look at a single paper,
my parents were the last in the batch , I also had trained them on all possible Q's mentioned on this site,and the interviewer was super nice.
