Hi,
My VISA(L1B) is going to expire on 10th April,2008 and I have just prepared the documents for the extension(Not even submitted to USCIS yet).
Now I am planning to bring my parents in March 1st,2008 for 6 months and prepared all the documents accordingly.
Please suggest whether it will be a problem at the time of their VISA Interview because I am anticipating a question for my parents like "How come your son invited you for 6 months because his VISA is valid only for a month from now?"
So please suggest whether
1. Still I should take a chance and ask my parents to be prepared saying "My son is going to file for an extension. If that is approved we will be staying for 5/6 months otherwise will return in 1 month."
2. I should apply their VISA only for 1 month thinking that at least they will get for 6 months and then proceed accordingly.
3. I should have to wait till I get the new approved petition and then only I should start plan on their travel.
Please suggest.
