Color passport copy for B2

Hi,

Is it required to send color passport copy of sponsor in case of B2 visa? My husband is sponsoring B2 visa for my parents. Do we need to send color copy of his as well as my passport to show at the consulate? The interview will be at Mumbai Consulate.
