My mother got a three month visa,which will expire on the 9th of April 2008. On her visa was written "Att 4 weeks only". She has not come yet. She wants to come on 1st febuary. I 2want her to stay for at least two months since her visa is for three months. Does the "Att 4 weeks only" mean anything?

Does it mean she has to stay for 4 weeks only even though her visa is for three months? If her I-94 form gets stamped with further three months extension, can she stay for more than three months?

Please advice.

She can stay until the date in I-94 form. But, most likely, she will get 4
weeks in I-94 form.

The officer at the port of entry decides in most cases as to how long one can stay. You will have to check your mom's I-94 after she enters USA. Hope this helps.
