Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a doctor from India. I applied for a visitors visa to give a examination in the states in order to pursue higher education.
I mentioned my intended duration of stay in form DS-156 as 15 days and was issued a 6 month single entry visa( which expires, august 2008), but i was granted a 3 month stay by the port officer at the airport( which again is upto august 2008).
I was wondering whether i can extend my stay (till August) as per my I-94 or should i stick to the 15 days mentioned in my DS 156.
If i do stay more than 15 days (as mentioned in Ds156 and as i told the visa officer ) will it have any adverse effect on my future visa applications?
I would be grateful if you could help me with my queries.
Regards
