Itinery?

Myself and a friend were successful yesterday in our b2 visa application/interview and got granted a 1 year multiple entry visa.

We plan on spending about 5 months in the usa spending time with a friend and then travelling.

The lady that interviewed us said we would have to show a travel itinery at the airports so what all would that have to include and how detailed would it have to be for the 5 months?

Would it also be advisable to take bank statements etc... with you to the airports?

she meant take proof of your return flight to home country. No bank documents are necessary.
