  • Pregnancy question for B2

Can somebody answer this please ?

My parents are going for tourist visa next month. I am currently 7 months pregnant. I told my parents not to tell the visa officers that I am pregnant. Incase if the visa officer asks my parents if I am pregnant, what should my parents answer ? Yes or No ?

    Please advise.

    Thanks in advance.

    Never volunteer ...

... information like this one. However, if the VO specifically asks you should never lie.

Think about it, what are the chances of any person asking your parents whether their daughter is pregnant? One in a million?

Also, remember US does not consider mother's help as valid or necessary requirement during daughter's delivery. A lot of applications have been rejected when they applied on this basis.

Good luck to you and your parents.

        At Interviews with Immigration:

        1) Do not LIE.
        2) Do not Volunteer information that you were not asked for.
        3) Short and simple "yes" and "no" answers. To the point.
        4) Relax.
        5) See #1.
