Visitor Visa Extension: Air ticket

Immihelp suggests that I send copies of return *paper* air tickets, not e-ticket. These days almost no airlines issue paper ticket. In this case what proof of ticket should I send?

Send e-ticket copies or itinerary from your travel agent.

Sure ...

... if you've got open date tickets, you can send them and add a note that the re-confirmation can be done based on the extension approved.
