Visitor Visa - Little complicated matter

I have a question regarding visitor visa. Thanks a lot for yr time.

My friends parents applied for visitor visa 2 years back and got refused due to 214(b). Someone told their parents that NOC is must for attending visa interview. Due to some procedural issues etc., it was not possible to get NOC in short time hence they had shown mother as housewife..however she is working for last 30 years.

Now, He is planning to try 1 more time. This time, showing mother as working ..what will be the best reason to explain for inconsistency.

to say that they lied...

people who "make up stories" should know that their lies will come back to haunt them. there is no "better way" to explain... other than lying, which will only lead into more problems.
