Info regarding visitor visa - urgent

Hi,
I am planning to invite my parents in may ,but I have filed my H1 visa extension as my current visa is expiring by April end.

Has anyone else come across same situation ?

Please let me know if this will cause any issues in getting visa for my parents ..thanks in advance.
