tourist visa without sponsor

Hi,
Im on a H1b status in US n my brother on F1 status. I recently came into the country and I dont have enough savings in the bank to show that I can sponsor my parents. My parents wants to visit the country. What are the chances that they can get the visa if they sponsor their visa and stay? Also what documents would they need?

They can show they are financing their trip if they have very good income.
The embassy does not have a cut off figure but in practice Rs 10 lacs per year of total family income from all sources that is documented , is safe. Your brother on F1 should invite them if they can show self financing, not you,because you just came here.

If they do not have that kind of income, they should wait till you have stayed a year . A year is a good time to wait before you can invite your parents. Before that, it shows desperation to go to US.
After a year ,you can send them an I-134 if you earn USD 40-50k per year.
