Debts and Visitors visa

I have some debts in my country. I have never been blacklisted. I always pay on time. I have the money to afford a visit to the USA as a tourist.

The question is... does the embassy have access to see the bank system to see your debts report?

No, it does not.
They rely on what documents you show them and what answers you give them. After all it is only a tourist visa.
