Apply for a Fiance Visa after they denied a Visitor one

I have been wondering about this. I want to go to the USA without having my girl requesting me thru the fiancee visa. what if they deny me a visitor visa and I would like to apply for a fiancee visa. Would I have a choice? how many months, years should I wait?

They are VERY different visas... you can not use a B2 for the purpose of marrying and you can not use a K1 for the purpose of "just visiting" the USA.

If you apply for a visitor visa, do not mention your girl friend . They will never give you a visa to visit your GF. You can apply for a purpose related to your work and then go and meet your gf.
I can give you more advice for your visitor visa, you must provide more info about yourself;
age, work, annual salary, family, relatives in US.

To apply for a fiancee visa, your gf will have to visit India , and you must have an engagement ceremony. Then you can apply for a fiance visa.
Can apply anytime after denial of a visitor visa.
