language - English ( even though at the place they asked if we want regional lang. translator..we said NO because we think that the last time the interpreter had messed up.. and it takes a loong waiting time )
If one of your parent can speak "SOME" english and can understand the standard questions then i would recommend English language interview. this gives you chance of direct interaction where as in regional lang. at times the VO does not even look at the applicants but just 'listen' to them.
Also giving practice interview to both parents helps boost their confidence and reduces the chance of being nervous.
Both Parents: good afternoon
q.1 why are you going to usa?
ans- to tour seattle with elder son and chicago with younger son.
q.2 how long do you want to go?
ans- one and half month. my son has mai a detailed trip plan - if you want to look at it -here it is. ( the VO said no need)
q.3 where does your son work?
ans- he is an employee of ABC company- thru ABC works as contract at PQR company in seattle
q.4 what does your other son do?
ans- works for LMN company near chicago
q.4. where did you work before you retired?
Ans-XYZ company

got 10 yr multiple entry visa.
