visa for retired parents

Both my mom and dad are retired teachers, will that pose any problem when they apply for visa(as they dont draw a huge pension) and does anyone know whether a hindi interview or interpreter can be requested at the time of interview in new delhi if the appointment has been taken in english. please help.

They need to show strong ties to india and a great source of income is one of them.

They must book an appointment date on the appropriate language. They can not book for an appointment in english and request a translator when they get there.
