My Birth Certificate required by me AND my parents!

Hello,
I am on H1-B and am sponsoring my parents for a visitor visa. I have already sent I-134 for both of them. I have 2 questions:

1. My husband has recently filed for Adjustment of Status (I-485) for me. Should I mention this in the cover letter to the consulate even though I am sponsoring on the basis of my H1-B? And also send the receipt for I-485?

2. I understand that my original birth certificate is required at the time of my parent's interview. However, I cannot send it to them, as I have an interview with USCIS in April (for Adjustment of Status) and I need it for that. Should I explain this to the consulate in Mumbai? Will it affect my parents' chances of getting a visa because they don't have my original birth certificate?

Any advice is appreciated.

1. Do not do it. There is no need. It is irrelevant for the visitor visa application.

2. Do not mention you are adjusting status. It will create problems.
They may deny your parents saying your daughter adjusted so you will adjust too. Just send a notarized copy of your bc , and if they say they need an original, your parents should say you have only one original and were afraid for it to get lost,so you sent a copy.
