Sir,
I want to call my parents to USA for a visit. My mother is a govt employee. Does she need to show her 'approved leave letter' before going to visa interview? We are not sure whether she will get a visa or not. Once she gets the visa then only she can plan to come here for couple of months and can apply for leave in her office. Its not an easy process for her to get approval for leave and then change or cancel depending on the tickets she is going to get. We heard from someone that she can't get visa if she doesn't carry her leave approval with her.
Regards
