Hi you all, I am going to explain my case as clear as possible and I want to thank you all for your responses, Thank you for you time.

I been living here since may 2007, I am married with an USC and I am pregnant with my first baby due in the first week of July, I recently got approved my green card, so I am a permanent residence. I am my mother's oldest child which make my baby her first Grandchild so I will like her to come for my childbirth and stay with me for a few weeks so she can meet her Granddaughter and stay at home with me since I don't have any family member here, I understand that in order to get a visitor visa you need something to tie you to your home country well my mom have her own house, she has a Job (she owns her own busyness) and she has another daughter who is 11 years old at the time (my little sister), my husband work for a company that own over 200 apartments and I stay at home.

So I don't know what are the steps to follow so my mother can apply for a visitor visa, I want to say that I came here with a non-immigrant visa and changed my status, when I got married my husband filed for adjustment of status, is there a possibility of denied on my mother's visa because I changed my status?

    thank you very much!

your situation is perfectly normal. You must be careful on how you and your mom approach the visa application, since you must make sure it does not appear as if your mom is coming to do "childcare or babysitting".

Your mom seems to have enough ties to her home country. What country is that bytheway?

First thing you need to do is to read the VISITOR Visa section of immihelp.com, it is full of good information. Also find the USA Embassy website for your country, it should state the protocol to apply for a visa.
