tourist visa expiration

My friend's wife came to united states with visitor visa. Her husband is a US citizen and he already filed I-130, I-485 . They are still waiting for process to complete. His wife's visitor visa is expiring soon. Does she have to file for an extension for tourist visa? Can she stay since they already filed I-130 and I-485?

She is legally present now that she has filed for AOS (I-485). She does not need to extend anything.
