Chennai: Parents visa got rejected-214b

My parents visa got rejected under 214b today (March 17 2008)at Chennai.

All I want to know if I can apply for them again this month? What is the time gap between two apppointments? Can I use the same docs?

Please help! both my parents work, and I wanted to make use of my mom's school vacation this summer and have them here.

Quick help is appreciated.

One can reapply after 3 working days. But if they go with the same presentation they will be denied again.
Please post the following info for better advice;

1. Please post the interview in Q and A form whatever they can remember.
2. What does your dad do? What is your parent's annual income?
3. What is your visa status in US? When did you come here?
4. Do you have any siblings in US?
5. Any siblings living with your parents? What do they do?

Actually the interview went very well initially and the VO also granted the visa to my parents.

Questions asked:
1. For how long your daughter has been in the USA?
2. Where does she work?
3. How many children you have? Where are they?
4. What does your son in law do? What are his parents names?

Okay take your daughters papers, your visa has been granted.

But to our bad luck, we also had a affidavit of return made for my parents and the VO while glancing at my parents documents for the last time foud a some family photographs.

They found this photograph of mine with my parents , grandparents and brother. I still have my grandparents, but didnt have one complete picture.
My parents sought the help of some photographer and had my pic added into a photo which already had my parents,grand parents and brother.

The VO looked at that and said it was a **** photograph and rejected. My parents honestly replied that their intention was to show all family members in one picture.

Guess, we were wrong.

Also I had read somewhere about family letters. Can you please post a format of the same.

Please respond as I want to bring my parents here for their summer vacation and hence try again as early as possible.

Doctoring/Altering/Editing documents is NEVER a good idea. They are likely to be rejected again over this. You need to give it some time before trying to apply again.

I have realized it! But is there any chance at all if we applied again, as all other documents were clean and fresh!

Pls reply back, as I am willing to try again in the coming weeks.

You may have to wait for another six months or so before applying.
