Canada Visit Visa

Hi All

I need help from the members or any person who has knowledge about getting Canada Visit Visa for my Mother who has already got her US Visit Visa.
Is it possible to get Canada visa after arriving in USA or do she need to get the Canada visit visa from the country where she is the Citizen.

There is no hard and fast rule but canadian high commission prefers you get the visa in home country; the staff here is more familiar with home country situation and is better able to assess each application.
That said, several applicants succeed in getting canadian visitor visas while in US, but in general, while applying in US, you may not be able to show all the documents proving ties to home country and thus may increase the chances of denial.

Additional question relating to same topic

My mother in law got her US visitor visa and she applied to for a canadian visa with the same paper work, but the canadians refused her. I wonder if we could reply for her once she comes in US. All we want is to let her see the Niagara Falls from Canada side.

Any suggestions?

If canadians in New Delhi denied you, it could be harder applying in US but there is no harm giving it a try. Just be ready to explain why you were denied in India and try to convince the officer by showing ties to India. Show documents showing her family's occupational and financial strength in India.
