Question regarding DS-156

I have a question about filling DS-156. I am a student and I am applying for a visitors visa for my parents. I have a brother who is working in the US. In Ds-156 question #37 it asks whether son/daughterin us.

While filling out the form I checked for son and I entered studying. I did not enter my brothers information as there was only one place to enter.

Did I do the right thing???

If not what should I do now??

Any Suggestions??

I would have selected "Son" in the box and written down "F1 and H1/L1" in that BOX in which you write about the status.

I have filled those forms already and got the dates for the interview. Do you think I can still do that now.

IF yes, will it affect the chances of getting VISA.

I think you should be able to change DS-156.

Always be truthful. Misrepresentation, if caught, could be worse than not getting a visa.
