I want to invite my mother to visit me in US. She lives in far east in India where there is neither HDCF bank visa fees centre nor a consulate office. Now my questions are:
1) Is it necessary for her/someone (on her behalf) to go to Kolkatta and pay the fees or can she send it through mail/post (sending a demand draft)? Will the HDFC bank send her the receipt by mail as well?
2) Can she pay her visa fees in Delhi (HDFC bank center) and go for the interview in Kolkatta? or visa versa? Or both the (HDFC bank and consulate office) has to be in same place?
3) Since she lives in fareast, can she still pay her visa fees and go for the interview in Delhi or it has to in eastern region that is Kokatta?
