Regarding B2(tourist) visa

Hi,
For Affidavit on Rs.20 Stamp Paper ( for tourist visa-B2) do i need to prepare separate affidavit for both mother and father or just one will work. They are both going together on same time for interview in Mumbai.

What is this affidavit on Rs. 20 stamp paper? Is it to declare the property? The VFS website does not show it as a manadtory supporting document. How much importance does it hold? Does the counselar officer even look at these documents? Please let me know as this will help in preparing the papers for my parent's interview

Not a mandatory document. The officers usually do not look at many documents but in some cases where a decision rests on the fence, they may ask to see some, like income and property documents.
So , no harm in taking one for asset declaration.

affidavit to US Consulate and Sponsor letter were sent by me on a plain white paper with details in it and my signature.

You dont need a stamp paper for affidavit and sponsor letters.

if it is for assets, it might, but my parents[dad and mum] got without any stamp paper]
