Sponsoring in-Laws

Hi All,
While sponsoring for in-laws visitors visa, do I have to send both of our passport copies or just mine should be good...


I understood that I need to send my husbands birth certificate instead mine.
got confused with passports if they need both of ours or just mine...

Depends first on ...

... who's sponsoring. If your husband is on H1B and you're on H4, then it's technically both of you, so you need to send both person's docs.

Better to send everything, no harm done.
