I have a multiple entry B1/B2 visa for 10 years.Last time visited states was 7 years ago..Now i want to visit states as a visiting medical student for 2m ..uni websites say you can visit us on B 1 visa..can i visit on my visa if yes what reason should i give at POE

What is 2m?

If you have a visitor visa that is valid, you can visit provided you don't have intent to stay in the US. If you are going to visit the University, get their invite for the visit. It should be for some defined training for you but not studies though.
