    No offence;

    *First of all, visiting friends is a purpose that will bring you a 100% denial. Officers think going 14000 miles just to meet friends is a lie.

    *Secondly, showing sponsorship from your mom when you are employed yourself will bring you another 100% denial.It will show your income is not strong so you are very likely not to return.

    Remember documents carry minimum importance and in most cases are not even looked at. They decide on the basis of the answers you give them to the questions they ask.

    Advice;
    what is your actual purpose? Do you just wish to visit or wish to study/work/settle in US. Advice will depend on your honest answer.

      You smell of immigrant intent planning to visit US for job or to be a student in future. Members here can see through your planned "visit" and so you can guess consular officers's opinion too.

            Have you ever been to any foreign countries? Which all?
            Do you have any relatives in US? Who, on what visas?

                I am sorry I cannot give you any advice as you are acting like a 5 yr old child.
                You do not answer the questions I asked (Income, foreign countries) , instead you keep repeating the same thing about friends and parents' income which I already told you will get a 100% denial.

                Good bye.

                  A person can qualify on his own for a visitor visa even without any invite letter from friends if they are eligible for it. A businessman with lots of $$$ and property can qualify for a visa if he plans to tour US.

                  That being said, you can apply for a visitor visa if you have and can prove sufficient ties to your home country. Your friends might have casually told you to come as they know your visa will get rejected.

                  Your age, your enthusiasm to visit "friends" that are on the other side of the globe will make a VO assume immigrant intent for you unless you can prove otherwise which is required of every visitor.

                  You have to understand that friends are not as free as they used to be in India in US. Everybody has a life and a job and are too busy with their life.

                  Visiting friends is not something that VO will be happy about. Rest is left to your discretion and you can give it a try. After all it is just $131 for a visa application!

                  I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
