Please post the documents you have submitted this time.

    Hi,

This is the first time I am posting at immihelp. I do read the forums once in a while.

My mom got her visa rejected twice also and is appearing for another in May. Last two were in English and of course she can understand and communicate okay (not good). I think VO rejected just because she is a widow and she told that VO has asked my Brother's Ration card in India (he lives in India) as a proof that he is in India which we don't know that time.

Can you please post me all the documents you have submitted from your side and also from your mom's side like their documents, so that I can be very planned this time.

Hope my mom gets visa this time.

Thanks for the help in advance.

    Sapna

In a letter to consulate, I wrote "my Mom's visa got rejected 2 times" and explained family ties in India. And about her earnings. because of all these she just can't abandon all those things to settle in USA. I explained all these things.

My mother too is widow. We afraid a lot this time, but things went well.

          Aunt's visa rejected twice

Thanks for all the information. My aunt is in similar situation. She is a widow and does not have any kids. She has a dependent sister.

I applied for her visa twice and it got rejected both times because of lack of ties in India . Is there anything in specific thats necessary to show family ties? It would be great if you could provide some pointers as to what can go into the letter to American consulate. Also, please let me know how long should I give before I book the next interview. Her first attempt was in Sep, 2007 and second was in may 1, 2008.

          Thanks a lot!

parents attempting visitor visa for the 3rd time

            Hi,

In my parents case, both their children are in the US. They were rejected both times becasue the officer thought they were going to immigrate. The ties to India part is the one that we find hard to prove, how do you prove this?

My parents had taken property documents, he did'nt even glance at those.
My grandmother lives with my parents in India, which was mentioned to the officer. But they got rejected anyway.

yes, could you please post the letter you wrote the embassy?

There is a change in our situation in that i am a citizen now, does this help their case in any way?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance! Their interview is next monday, hoping for the best!
