  • what is appropriate under - ' Who will pay for the trip?'

We are trying to bring my mom to US and my husband is sponsoring her. She was rejected twice before at chennai, one time with no reason and second time that they don't think she is going to return to the home country and asked for my brother's ration card as a proof that he lives in India.

This time, I want her to take everything with her and took appt in Telugu.

Can anybody please advise what is recommended to put under - ' Who will pay for the trip?' because I put self last two times but in the letter to consulate and invitation letter we specify sponser will provide all the expenses in US and also for ticket round trip.

Please suggest/ advise what is appropriate in both place.

    Thanks for the help.

There is no appropriate answer. If you are paying for it, you have to put your name/husband's name there. It would be impractical for a person to self sponsor if your mom is not working and does not have the ability to self sponsor.

Always being honest is good. Many people that get rejected twice will most likely get approved the third time if they succeed in proving ties to home country like to look after some one or if they have kid/property,bank balance etc.

      Good luck!
