My mom got her visa today - 2nd attempt

Today (May 2nd) my mom got the visa. Last year she attended on March 2nd.
Last time her visa was rejected with just one question? - How many sons you have?

My mom is a widow and she is 67 years old. I have three sisters and I am the only son.

This time also we went with the same documents that I had sent last time except that I just changed the dates in all the letters.

Interview was in telugu:

VO: How many kids you have and where are they?
A: YYYY daughers and son

VO: What are your sons-in-law doing?
A: They are working so and so...

VO: How do you earn your livelihood and on whom you depend?
A: I get pension and I have property, rents etc.

VO: Ok. You got the visa. You will receive the passport in a week.

They took the application with photo on it but did not take extra photographs.

1st time
My mother attended interview 1st time on March 2nd 2007.
That time they did not even ask her any questions -
The telugu translator lady said - My mother is old and she will not return from USA. Then she did not listen to my mother's explanation and said -your interview is over you can leave now.
My mother was standing in the queue for 5 hours holding all the documents but her interview did not last for a minute

2nd time
Second time she attended on May 2nd 2008.
My mother told me this time system changed a little bit as they were asked to sit in a waiting room.

Just advice your mother to tell only facts. That will definitely makes her case stronger. GOOD LUCK!
