Re-entry to US after visit to Europe

My MIL is on visitor's visa and is currently visiting us in US. She has 10 year multiple entry visa. During her trip, we plan to go to Europe for 16 days and return to US. MY MIL is schedule to return to India after that from US before her scheduled 6 months. Will there be any problem for her re-entry to US?

there should not be... the only problem will be if she:

arrives USA and spends 5 months, then travels to Europe for 2 weeks, comes back to the USA and "expects" 6 more months... that will be a big no-no.

She should let the POE officer, upon her return to the USA from Europe that she only needs 1-2 months...

the best thing would be if the trip to Europe is done within the first 2 months of her stay, not the last 2. That way she would only have stayed 1/2 month in the USA and return.
