Parents Name in our Passport

Hi,

We are planning to bring my in-laws to USA. But my mother-in-law name written as 'VANAJAMMA' in my husband's passport and as 'VANAJA' in her passport.

Is this going to be a problem during stamping.. How to change her name in my husband's passport..

Please do help me out.

Hi,

I believe its not an issue, because, in DS-156 we can mention what are the other names (First Name or Last name) that had used.

Alternative option:

Send your mother-in-laws passport for name correction
