Tourist visa questions..Pls help

Hi,

I am sponsoring my parents' tourist visa.Can some one pls help me with the following queries:

1) Is there any Minimum Bank Balance that parents should show as a part of their bank statements? (Any min amount)??

2) Documents that are required to be SENT to Mumbai consulate?

You do not send anything to the consulate. Whatever you send, you send it to your parents.

They always ask about income and rarely about balance.
It is better they make a list of all their deposits/insurances/investments/property on a CA's letter head, if they have a good worth and have it certified by him.
