B2 visa for visa expiring in another 4 months

Hi,

My L1B visa is expiring on Sep 22.
I would like for my mother to visit for a month and stay with me.

Just wanted to consult on whether it is fine for me to apply at this stage.
Please let me know in your opinion, what would be the probability of getting the visitor visa approved, given that there are 4 months left on my L1B.
