Minimum Bank Balance

Hi,

2 Years back I applier for my parents and they got 10yr B2 visa.

Now, I am applying for my in-laws (Father-in-law, mother-in-law and sister-in-law).

I had good monthly balance in my account until last 2 months, now I have around $11,000.

1> Will that be enough for the bank account verification letter?
2> My sister-in-law is in 3rd year of her Engineering, will it be any issue for getting visa for her and my in-laws together?
3> This year I bought a home and paid down payment from my account and that's the reason for having less balance. Can I or Should I mention this point any where to avoid any issues related to insufficient bank balance?

Please advice.

That kind of balance is enough. You write your net worth on the affidavit of support anyway which you can count your assets like home etc.

Visitor visa is dependent on how they can prove ties to the home country and having a kid in school is useful. Your bank balance only has little significance if not none.

It is best not to apply for the SIL if she has plans to study in the US on a F1 visa later on as a B1/B2 rejection will have problems. Also having her back home is sufficient ties for parents to prove they will come back to the home country.

Your sister-in-law will have the hardest time obtaining the visa. There is a presumption that she is looking for work or marriage especially with her degree.

All applicants are supposed to be considered individually in a group interview so her appearing with her parents is not supposed to influence the VO's decision on the others. It is their choice whether to appear together or apart.
