  • Question regarding DS157 and DS156

    Question regarding DS157:

point 17: The education, my mother has done BA but she was lost the certificates. So will have no proof. Even she does not have the 12th certificate. (This is because she is a housewife and never required these)
So what shall I enter in this question? Friends are telling me that this is not a mandatory field so leave it.

    Question regarding DS156:
Point 37: Relatives in US. Both of her Son are in US and on H1B.
So I should tick on the "Son" and mention "Working on H1B"?
    is this correct?

I would go ahead and say she has a BA. Education is Education.

Q37. Son H-1B. And, all other relatives that appear as choices and who are in the U.S. Truthfully.

      Thanks DMX17.

So is that ok if she does not have the certificates? will they ask her to show the proof?

for DS157, both her Son are in US, so do I need to mention " Both Son- working H1B"?

      Its confusing please advice.

        Absolutely. Always be truthful.

Your mother is not coming here based on her educational qualifications. I don't think her visa will be rejected solely based on the fact that she does not have a degree certificate.
