Visitor Visa Question - Passport will be mailed in a week

My mom went to Visitor Visa today in Chennai Consulate with Telegu. She has been asked few questions like

1. How many kids?
2. What they are doing?
3. Where are they? (Both are in US)
4. When did your husband died?
5. Are u getting pension? (Her case it is YES)

That is it and they said Passport will be mailed in a week.

What does it mean? Does she got the Visa or not? Can you please share your experiences?

Visa has been approved. If denied, they return the passport at the counter itself in most cases.

Depends. Cities 3-4 days. Towns, May be a day extra. Relax now and be patient. You will get it.
